A bathroom is judged in the first fifteen seconds and used several times a day. It is also the most expensive part of a refurbishment and the hardest to redo.
We are interested in materials and fittings that survive hotel use: cleaning several times a day, hard water, guests who treat nothing gently, and a housekeeping team with limited time per room.
Water and energy saving is not treated here as an environmental slogan. In an accommodation property it is a line in the monthly bill, and that is the argument that persuades an owner.
